Do The Research

Everywhere I look online I see ridiculous programs being pursued by people with high hopes of getting rich by joining a company at the right time with promises they'll have to do nothing. Only the promiser gets rich in those programs.

Some people do business like they're playing the lottery, joining the latest start-up or pre-launch even though 99 out of 100 of them fail and even though 54 out of 55 internet businesses have been determined to be bogus scams that you'll lose money in by 20/20 news.

If that's what you've been doing you need to know a few facts that the internet scammers don't want you to know. With this information you'll be able to make sound business decisions that will allow you to earn a permanent income from your online marketing efforts.

Here are three important facts that you may not know...

Fact #1: Any person or company showing checks or making income claims is breaking the law in nearly every country. They will eventually get shut down by the Federal Trade Commission or the equivalent in another country and should be avoided unless you love gambling and losing money.

Fact #2: Cash Gifting Programs are illegal in the United States and will eventually get shut down. If they have to try to convince you that they are legal, they probably aren't.

Fact #3: Each year more than 1,000 network marketing businesses open in the United States alone and less than 1% last more than 2 years. That's about 10 that make it 2 years.

So how can you determine a scam from a legitimate business that will withstand close scrutiny?

There is only one way.... Do the research.

Google the company founders and owners names and do background checks on them. Find out what other companies they have started in the past and what happened to those companies.

If you can't find out their names run.

Check with the Direct Sellers Association about the company. All good companies will be members with them because it shows credibility and members must follow a code of ethics designed to protect you from scam artists.

There is a lot more that you can do in terms of research such as checking some independent sites like businessforhome.org too.

Shorten the process by picking companies that have already been proven to have the integrity, values and ethics you would want to put your good name behind. There are many of them to choose from, but unfortunately there are about a thousand bad ones for every one good one.

Life is too short to keep starting over just because you spent your precious time working the wrong programs.
